陳穎亭 Ying-Ting Chen

當代纖維藝術家,畢業於國立臺南藝術大學應用藝術研究所纖維組。 作品以纖維為主要的創作媒材,藉由鐵鏽染和植物染等的工藝技法來進行創作。2014年起,以「鐵鏽物件」為主題所進行的創作計畫,透過募集對擁有者極具情感意義的鐵物件,再以纖維材質的轉化記錄下鐵物件的一件作品,並發展品牌鐵鏽物件@rusted_objects。

A contemporary fiber artist, graduated from the The Graduate Institute of Applied Arts with a focus on Fiber Arts at the Tainan National University of the Arts. Her works primarily use fiber as the main creative medium, employing techniques such as iron rust dyeing and plant dyeing. Since 2014, she has embarked on a creative project with the theme of "Rusted Objects," wherein she creates artworks by collecting iron objects that hold significant emotional value for their owners. Using the transformation of fiber materials, she captures and records these iron objects, further developing the brand known as @rusted_objects.

鐵鏽物件─罐系列

Rusted Objects - Cans I~XIV

撿拾,落在海邊的鐵罐,它們隨著時間一點一點的鏽蝕,慢慢地收集,竟也累積了不同的狀態。藉著鏽色沁染纖維,將這繼續消散的鐵罐,以纖維記錄下物件的某個時刻。

I picked up the tin cans that were littered by the sea, and they rusted little by little with time.
I collect them slowly, and they have accumulated different states.
By staining the fiber with the rust color, I use the fiber sculpture technique to record a certain moment of these dissipated cans.
