Steel . Essence
Exploring the fusion of functional aesthetics and Kaohsiung's steel industry, this project envisions the cityscape using steel's properties in public facilities. Focusing on public garbage bins, the collaboration with local steel manufacturers aims to turn them into functional sculptures. This semi-experimental showcase seeks to transform mundane objects into urban art, emphasizing both practicality and aesthetic enhancement. The goal is to create a ubiquitous urban entrance image, where everyday elements like garbage bins become miniature works of art, reflecting the texture and essence of the city.
