With backgrounds in theatre design, Uncertain Studio creates micro-technical theatre, by building time-based art works that consist of low-tech installations, objects, sounds and shadows in various environments. In recent years, they have been moving from an aesthetics-based approach into a more experimental one in the forms of dialogue with which we might approach societal issues. The creative team of this work are Yen-Ting Hsu, Ching-Fang Huang, Sz-Ni Wen, and Yen-Ting Tseng.

Kaohsiung, resilient amid war, played a vital role during WWII as Japan's industrial base. U.S. bombings forced closure of the harbor, leading to a transformative moment in 1948 when Tang Jung Iron Works salvaged the Mirimaru, sparking the Shipbreaking Kingdom era. The city thrived on dismantling ships until a tragic 1986 explosion at Daren Palais Shipbreaking Dock halted operations.
We now lost all the Japanese colonial-era ironworks, Xishiga industrial area, and the city's industrial footprints from the past, which turned into a beautiful and romantic carousel.
