Teng-Shiang Chuang & Pei-Shan Wu are Taiwanese sculptors who work mainly in metal materials. Their studio is located in Taipei, Taiwan, and their works include sculpture creation, public art production, and design planning.

The Energy Laboratory

一座城市背後充滿著不同的能量。具體的電能，可以提供動力、光、熱等等。而抽象情感也是一種能源。透過想像，將看不見的記憶、情緒和感受視為一種能量，形塑出城市集體的心靈能源。

工業是高雄發展的重要引擎，也造就了城市的獨特樣貌。城市中有林立的工廠、大樓、和古蹟等，各種建築都代表每一個行業與不同的生活型態。而住在這裡生活的人們，提供了城市滿滿的能量。我們企圖將高雄的工業城市意象帶入作品之中，營造一個能夠創造能量的城市舞台，也猶如一座能源工廠，期望作品能夠透過想像力的注入，轉化成源源不絕的能量，象徵供應城市活力與希望。

Kaohsiung's energy, both concrete and abstract, shapes its unique identity. Industry, a key force in its development, defines the city's appearance with factories, buildings, and monuments, reflecting diverse lifestyles. In this artwork, we portray Kaohsiung as an energy factory, harnessing the city's collective mental energy. Through imagination, invisible memories and emotions become a perpetual flow of energy, symbolizing vitality and hope. The work aims to transform the city into a dynamic stage, supplying continuous energy to fuel Kaohsiung's spirit.
