Commemorative coins

Commemorative coins traditionally highlight national events or notable figures. This project diverges by featuring families in Kaohsiung's industrial sector within iron window flowers. Each anonymous portrait symbolizes the unnamed contributors whose dedication fuels Taiwan's economic vitality.

Father

Tian-Khiew Liu, born in 1955, transitioned from a truck driver of nearly three decades to a subject in his son Hsing-Yu Liu's "My Father, My Mother" photography series in 2011. This marked the start of Hsing-Yu Liu's artistic outdoor photography career. Collaborating with the Steel Sculpture Art Festival, the exhibition uniquely features "father" and presents wedding photography related to the "truck driving" profession for the first time.
