GeoMerce
GeoMerce reimagines agriculture by turning fields into financial assets through phyto-mining. Certain plants, known as hyper-accumulators, absorb and accumulate metals like Zinc, Copper, and Nickel. The installation tracks this metal absorption process, linking it to real-time metal market values. As a result, the value of crops becomes dynamic, influenced by both financial markets and scientific progress. This integration of agriculture and finance challenges traditional farming decisions, making them responsive to economic fluctuations and scientific advancements.
